Description
When fishing with artificial lures, we always recommend using a MaiTai shock leader. A shock leader gives you a little stretch to protect from the shock of last minute lunges at the end of a fight with a large fish. It also adds some abrasion resistance down near the lure where you will want it. Lastly, a fluorocarbon, or even a monofilament leader is less visible than braided line tied direct.
Work great for stiped bass, weakfish, sea trout, snook and redfish.
MaiTai shock leaders are approximately 24 inches long and are made with high quality swivels and fast snaps, They are available in monofilament and fluorocarbon.
